amie Porter Band are a rock trio from North Wales who originally came together in 2014 as a live band for Jamie's song writing project. The band has previously released 2 singles, 2EP's & 2 albums and are back with a new music in the form of Save Me, Sound Of The Summer & new offering Can't Bring Me Down. The new music comes from long awaited album MM XXI due for release any day now Please sit back and relax as I walk us through new offering from these boys from North Wales.



Ready For Action – A pounding snare drum beat comes at us as bass drum kicks get the rhythm section on the move. A shredding guitar riff is hurtling towards us as this thundering track comes at us and really opens up, bass chords are handing us a meaty plundering groove that just elevates this rocking beast to the next level. Vocals are coming through and they have a real gritty gravelly tone that is just so infectious, guitar riffs open up and they deliver a slick crisp chord that really brings this track kicking and screaming towards us and it has a cool deep punchy beat that just carries on through the mid section as we feel the depth coming from this electrifying trio as they dish out a good old dose of rock n roll that leaves us wanting more from these Welsh wonders.


I Can't Stop Loving You – A rasping riff blasts it's way through as the rhythm section offloads with a real solid snare drum beat that has bass kicks that bring the cymbal smashes that get this track off the ground. There is a real dirty rasping chord that is handing us a sweet groove as this pounding track works it's way into a cool mellow beat that brings bass chords to deliver a funk groove that has a dark blues / country feel to it. Vocals are strong with a real solid gravelly tone that fits this arrangement so well, guitar licks are just fantastic as they hand out a lesson in slick chords that give this track depth.


Lay It On Me - A gritty rasping guitar riff with slick grooves is erupting into this rocking track as it wanders freely to allow this track the room it need s to grow. Pounding snare drum punches are raining down on us as the bass drum kicks work well with cymbal crashes that just allow this track to grow. Vocals are a deep dark gritty vibe that has depth and tone that just bring this track to our attention,

 bass lines are dumping colossal grooves in our lap as they work this rocking track well and bring the killer licks kicking and screaming to our attention. This is a real swanky blues rifted beast that has real depth to it.


Where We Belong - Killer licks ring out as this crunching beast comes kicking and screaming at us with snare drum punches to really open the rhythm section. Bass drum kicks combine with cymbal snaps as the track comes to life with melodic solid vocals that have a real rasping tone to really let this track bring the heat. Bass chords are moving in and they drop a cool deep plundering beat that gives this track depth, vocals are so strong and they come and really work well with this thundering beast of a track. Guitar riffs are with us and they bring a sweet crisp lick that oozes class as it wanders freely through this pounding monster beat to give this frack a little attitude as it comes armed with a funking beat that is just melodic with real emotion.


Save Me - Mellow soulful piano tones come rippling through as a nice guitar riff steals us away to welcome a snare drum punch that also incorporates a cool bass drum kick with a snare tap to round off the rhythm section in style. Vocals come in and they have a gravelly rasping tone that has age on it's side with a cool soulful feeling as we run through this cool blues style rocking track. Bass chords are littered throughout this awesome piece of music as they hand down deep funking grooves that melt into the very soul of this cool blues track. Guitar chords ripple into a smooth soulful deep rasping riff that really balances this thoughtful track with emotion flowing through every pore as this smooth melodic gritty arrangement brings us closer to the meaning of this track and how it will bring us all closer in the long run, this is a well thought out piece of music that has you drifting off to find yourself and really start to believe that there is light at the end of this very long and dark tunnel, awesome track that is just incredible.


You Can't Bring Me Down -  From the off we get a rasping gritty guitar shredding groove that really gets this track off the ground. We have snare drum punches that combine well with bass drum kicks that bring in cymbal crashes that really open the rhythm section. Bass chords are coming at us and handing out a deep meaty plundering groove that just brings this gritty rocking track together. Vocals have that real lived in tone that is so hard to find as the gritty rasping vibes work their way through this powering beast of a track that has a real cool beat running through it. A change up in the mid section brings in classy crisp licks that just slice this track open and allow it to breathe and really deliver a deep rasping groove that has a solid rhythm section for back up and let's us know these guys are here and here to stay.


Everything You Do - A pounding snare drum punch brings the heat as this beast has a shredding guitar lick that wanders freely through the intro. Bass drum kicks hold the rhythm section as sweet melodic bluesy vocals enter and just bring this track together, a mellow bass chord is hitting us hard with a plundering funk groove that just elevates this fabulous piece of music to the next level. Piano tones are littered throughout the mid section and add another dimension to this pounding rocker track, guitar riffs are just classy as they Sound Of The Summer Punchy snare drum lights up the room as a gritty rasping guitar riff roars off down the road as this rocking beast comes to life.


We have gravelly rasping vocals that really bring this track together as it brings depth and attitude as it opens up and just lets us feel the rocking good vibes flowing into this cool summer vibes track. Bass chords are coming through and handing down meaty plundering groove beats that help this track build and build, guitar solo slips in and comes at us with crisp licks with a real gritty attitude that helps this track bring the heat and a real cool punchy rocking groove that has you wanting more from these North Wales rockers, it has a feel good factor built in that will have you punching the air with excitement and stamping your feet to this power driven monster summer hit.


The Last Train – A cool deep riff flows effortlessly into this track as a solid snare drum punch rains down on us to really bring the groove to get us started. Bass drum kicks work well with cymbal snaps as the rhythm section comes to life and really offloads with a wall of sound, bass chords are handing us a cool funk groove that is solid and has depth that really works through this fantastic rocking beast.


Vocals are a strong gravelly rasp that allows this track room to breathe as we await the killer riffs to rain down on us as they build and build and finally cut loose with crisp clean licks that are just incredible to really bring this track to our attention, the tempo changes and it goes up a notch or two as the groove intensifies, classy rocker with a real edgy feel.



Touch The Sky – A thundering groove is with us as the beat intensifies with a snare drum punch that just brings the rhythm section to our attention. Bass drum kick are working alongside cymbal crashes as the track builds and builds with a deep groove that just allows this track to grow. Vocals are just fantastic as they bring a rocking rasp that has a blues tone attached to it as it brings a gravelly vibe that works so well with a this classy arrangement. Those not familiar with Jamie Porter should get on it as this guy is bringing a rockier feel back to music with his infectious tone and great touch with a guitar, this has a real mellow feel to it and is a great way to finish an album that is littered with so many highlights.
